The Boys & Girls Club seeks a full-time Finance Associate II. This position reports to
the Director of Finance and is based in the Administrative Offices of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia located in the Cherry Avenue Club.

Position Summary: Performs multiple diverse and financial management duties to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external non-profit regulations, works independently in selecting and applying established organizational financial procedures appropriately, updates supervisor and staff on financial information and status of projects as required. 
Main Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely responses to all requests
• Manage the processing of check and EFT payments
• Process credit card payments and reconcile corporate cards
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
• Assist with annual audit
• Support other members of the organization and help prepare month end reconciliations
• Prepare various payroll documents including monthly, semi-monthly, and weekly casual payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly
• Other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge Required :

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to act with discretion and handle confidential materials
• Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks , and database software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be eligible to work in the US on a full-time unlimited basis

Preferred :

• Non-profit experience
• Knowledge of Abila MIP, and Fundraising 50
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel locally
